Corrupted Twilight

So I had an odd dream last night about King Sombra's horn somehow fusing to Twilight's (if you remove the top part of her mane in the .svg file you can see how I did it) and turning her into what Sombra was, a beast of shadow and pure evil.

If Sombra's horn is being fused with, and so becoming one with, Twilight, an extremely powerful magic user and now an alicorn and a bearer of one of the Elements, she would be the biggest threat to Equestria and whatever planet they all live on. How I see this happening is that since the essence of pure evil is being fused to her horn, all the magic she does hence forth will be dark magic. From what I've seen, I think that magic is controlled by ones will, imagination, stamina, and concentration. With the horn seeming to be the only place to focus magic, and magic being controlled by what was stated previously, the evil essence will have a direct route to Twilight's abilities. While Twilight will resist for sometime, she will only be resisting it via mind power and not physically. At that point, Twilight's physical form will be transformed into a beast of shadows, thanks to the curse carried over from Sombra. So with her hair turning into smoke and purple gas seeping from her eyes, Twilight will momentarily lose concentration in panic. While it may only be for a moment, the evil essence contained in Sombra's horn will take this opportunity to seize control of Twilight's mind. So with Twilight now being controlled by pure evil and and beast of shadow, I'd say Equestria is screwed.
